The Warner Bros. Movie World theme park on Australia’s Gold Coast is to unveil its new Batwing Spaceshot thrill ride to the media tomorrow (20 December).
The ride – based on the DC Comics character Batman – features a 4.5G vertical launch up a 60m tower, with riders going up to 64km/h, and then dropping into a negative descent.
It will carry 360 passengers per hour and last for 50 seconds.
The ride will open to the public on 26 December, a year to the day after the opening of its Superman Escape rollercoaster.
