Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Movie World on Australia’s Gold Coast unveiled its Shrek 4D Adventure, a new movie with special effects, and is also set to open the Superman Escape ride in December.
The new attractions are part of an AUS$65m (£28m, 41m euro, US$49m) expansion planned by Warner Village Theme Parks, which also includes the AUS$20m (£9m, 13m euro, US$15m) developments at Wet’n’Wild Water World.
A new 1,000-capacity AUS$23m (£10m, 15m euro, US$17m) Australian Outback Spectacular dinner show is also set to be launched in April 2006. Situated between Movie World and Water World, the two-hour experience will include an Aussie BBQ and show.
