TiLE appoints Gourevitch as conference chair
POSTED 14 Nov 2005 . BY
Alexandre Gourevitch, former senior executive with attractions operator Grévin & Cie, has been appointed chair of the TiLE Conference Committtee.

“Unlike more sales-oriented conventions, TiLE is also a place to learn, and to be exposed to new thinking,” said Gourevitch.

“If an executive is able to attend only one conference a year, TiLE is the one. The committee has launched an unprecedented drive this year to boost the quality of the conference programme – so expect some surprises!"

Richard Curtis, conference director of TiLE, the attractions industry conference and exhibition, added: “Alexandre is widely known in this industry and highly respected by those within it for his creative approaches to the business issues facing the industry, so I see nothing but positives for the conference by having him involved.

"His ideas are already making a difference to the conference programme and making it a very exciting future as a result.”

Gourevitch recently left France-based Grévin & Cie and is currently planning to launch a new tourist attraction in Paris.

The TiLE organisers have also announced they are to create a technology consultant role for the committee, to boost the conference’s technology and market trends coverage.

TilE 2006 will take place in Maastricht on 20-22 June. Details: www.andrich.com/tile
