Artist Dan Graham has collaborated with Haworth Tompkins Architects on a new glass pavilion made from curved, two-way mirror glass at a London gallery.
Entitled Waterloo Sunset at the Hayward Gallery 2002-3, this elliptical building features six interactive touchscreens.
Spiral Productions created the software for the screens after winning the tender to produce the project in March.
Since then they have worked closely with the Hayward to realise Graham’s vision. Spiral designed an IT system to deliver content for the touchscreens. The programme includes a variety of digital media including films, cartoons, flash media and exhibition information.
Easily updated, this content is held in a single database that uses web
technology to send the content to the pavilion screens.
