The 100m euro (US$129.9m, £87.3m) Porsche Museum has opened near Stuttgart, Germany.

The 5,600sq m (60,300sq ft) of exhibition space displays around 80 cars from throughout the company’s history and boasts more than 200 additional exhibits.

Designed by Viennese architects Delugan Meissl, the museum also boasts conference space and the Christophorus restaurant.

Porsche is expected the museum to attract 200,000 visitors each year, saying that even its old museum – located on the works site – attracted 80,000 visitors despite only holding 20 exhibits.

The two-storey museum, which took three years to build, will constantly rotate the models on display.
