Lillehammer University College,
which borders Lake Mjøsa in
Norway, has invested US$125,000
(£64,000) in a Precor gym in the first
stage of a redevelopment project.
The university is in the process of
seeking government and community
funding so it can continue to improve
its leisure facilities over the next
decade.
Jen Aasen, director of finance
and personnel, says: “Students are
considering more than just their
course when selecting a university.
“To ensure Lillehammer University
College continues to remain relevant
to the student population, it is
essential that we have a programme
of continued investment into our
leisure provision. ”
