Plans for a 60-lodge holiday park near Bodfari, Denbighshire, have been dismissed after planning officials ruled there was "insufficient justification" for the proposed location.
Denbighshire County Council rejected Lleweni Parc's plans for the development at the Blue Hand Field site; a decision backed up by a planning inspector appointed by the Welsh Assembly Government.
A council spoksperson said: "The council had strong concerns that the holiday lodge scheme would result in the loss of good quality agricultural land.
"It was also concerned that the highway conditions in this rural location would not support such a scheme resulting in more car movements and inadequate pedestrian links."
