Nominations open for TPOT’s Shine Your Light awards celebrating industry excellence

Shine a light on someone you feel deserves to be recognised and rewarded for all they do to fly the flag for true client and community care

Educational organisation The Power of Touch (TPOT) has launched the nominations process for its second annual Shine Your Light Awards to celebrate excellence in the spa and wellness industry.

The awards are designed to recognise and reward individuals that go above and beyond to serve and demonstrate that the power of touch is the spa and wellness industry’s greatest gift.

Michelle Hammond, founder and MD of the Spa Business School and TPOT, said: “Nominations are now open, so shine a light on someone you feel deserves to be recognised and rewarded for all they do to make their part of the world a better place and fly the flag for true client and community care.”

The awards are split into the following categories:
  • Inspirational Charity Contributor

  • Inspirational Consultant

  • Inspirational Leader

  • Inspirational Therapist (Employed)

  • Inspirational Therapist (Freelance)

  • Inspirational Trainer.


To enter, participants must complete the nomination form and supply as much information and supporting evidence regarding why they or their nominee of choice should be considered to win an award. Nominations are now open here.

Nominations are welcome from industry peers, colleagues and the public for nominees who live and practise within the UK and Ireland.

Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges made up of industry figures, including:
Beata Aleksandrowicz – founder of Aleksandrowicz System
Helena Field – MD of Action Wellbeing
Mark Smith – director of Mark Smith Media
Michelle Hammond – MD Wellness Curated and founder of TPOT
Nigel Franklyn – The Spa Whisperer, consultant and co-founder of Moss Wellness and Moss of the Isles
Paula Perkins – founder of Paula Perkins Spa Consultancy
Sunita Passi – founder of Tri Dosha.

The deadline for nominations closes at the end of August 2021. Finalists will then be invited to join a Zoom interview over the last two weeks in September.

Winners will be announced at the Shine Your Light Awards afternoon in London on 3 November 2021.

Educational organisation The Power of Touch (TPOT) has launched the nominations process for its second annual Shine Your Light Awards to celebrate excellence in the spa and wellness industry.

The awards are designed to recognise and reward individuals that go above and beyond to serve and demonstrate that the power of touch is the spa and wellness industry’s greatest gift.
