New manager for Edinburgh Castle

New manager for Edinburgh Castle
Nick Finnigan has been appointed as executive manager of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, taking over from Barbara Smith.

Finnigan has worked for site managers Historic Scotland since 1989 and was previously events and filming manager at the castle.

He said: "It is an honour to work for Edinburgh Castle, a world-class site steeped in history and tradition.

"There are many exciting events at the castle for everyone to enjoy, and this year we are looking forward to a spectacular season of outdoor concerts."
