Cyfartha Castle Museum and Art Gallery in Merthyr Tydfil has officially reopened its doors to the public, following the completion of a £320,000 refurbishment.
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (MTCBC) led the five-month overhaul, which has included new case displays, new interpretations, repairs and improved audio guides.
Funding for the scheme came from the Welsh Assembly Government through the Heads of the Valleys Programme.
Museum curator Scott Reid said: "This grant has enabled us to enhance the exhibitions housed within the Museum and carry out some much-needed repairs to the structure."
