The Movie World Madrid theme park has installed the Stunt Fall, Europe's first suspended looping boomerang roller-coaster.
Strapped into ski-lift style chairs suspended from the track above, the Stunt Fall, sends its 32 riders dangling face and feet-down out of the station. The riders are then dropped into a complete vertical free fall, reaching speeds of 65 mph, before racing head-over heels on the outside of a 102 foot-tall vertical loop, followed by a butterfly turn before ascending the second 178 foot tall tower.
Tom Mehrmann, park general manager, said: 'Extremely high in excitement, this cutting-edge roller-coaster answers the call from those guests with a desire for thrills, starving for unexpected sensations, or looking for a rush of adrenaline.'
