A rough draft for the US$70m (£47.8m) expansion of the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque, IA, US has been drawn up.
According to the Telegraph Herald, a Dubuque newspaper, the museum’s executive director Jerry Enzler said that the plans would be published shortly.
“The exhibit designers will deliver a design development package in two weeks,” he said. “It’s not the final draft, but we know where everything is going to be.”
The project will involve doubling the size of the existing museum and is expected to open in 2010.
