Tomb Raider: The Ride opened this month at Paramount's Kings Island theme park in Ohio.
The multi-million dollar adventure ride takes visitors into an ancient temple, before strapping them into an escape vehicle and plunging them towards a pit of red-hot lava.
The ride is based on the Tomb Raider games and Paramount Pictures film. 'The thrill of Tomb Raider is the mystery and intrigue that surrounds each adventure,' said general manager, Tim Fisher. 'This attraction will change the face of thrill ride history.'
