Manuka City Council in New Zealand is to invest in a
culinary themed park, to be located near Auckland International Airport.
The NZ$100m (US$69m, £39m, 56m euros) Food Bowl project would include a cluster of food and beverage developments focusing on innovation and research.
The council has already purchased a 3.2 hectare area for the regional development initiative, which is expected to include entertainment facilities and tourist attractions.
Barry Curtis, Manukau’s mayor, said: “The Food Bowl will make a great contribution to economic growth in the region.”
