Disney is set to launch its new spa concept with the opening of Senses - A Disney Spa at its Grand Floridian Resort in Lake Buena Vista next month.
From January 2013, all spas, salons, and fitness centres across Walt Disney World will be owned and run by Disney under the Senses brand, instead of being operated by external companies.
The Grand Floridian location is the first to be renovated and to reopen under Disney control.
Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, Senses - A Disney Spa will feature 15 treatment rooms and two private spa villas.
On entering the spa guests chose from three journeys, relax, renew and imagine, this will determine their treatments during the visit.
Signature treatments at the resort include the Grand Floridian 80-minute aromatherapy massage.
Other treatments on offer include water therapy, sugar exfoliation body treatment, and the rejuvenation facial.
Whirlpools, a relaxation area, steamrooms, couples treatment rooms and spa pools will also be on offer.
The second resort to relaunch with a Senses spa is Disney's Saratoga Springs Spa in Florida, which will close for renovation and reopen with Senses - A Disney Spa mid 2013.
