The Arizona Science Center has reached an agreement with Phoenix City Council which will see it providing display space for exhibits from the now defunct Phoenix Museum of History.
The Science Center acquired the assets of the Museum, plus the right to occupy the building housing it, when the Museum closed in June this year due to financial problems.
The city owns both buildings, adjacent on E. Washington and N. 5th Streets, and is responsible for their maintenance.
A re-opening date for the history section has yet to be announced.
