Crealy Adventure Park in Cornwall, UK has announced plans to invest £1.5m in accommodation.
The family attraction in St Issey, near Wadebridge is applying for planning permission for five star eco-lodges located within the grounds of the park.
David Wright, one of the family owners of the park, said the investment would benefit the entire region.
"The accommodation at will benefit north Cornwall as a whole, in terms of jobs, local businesses and by encouraging year round tourism spend in the region,” he said.
“Less than seven per cent of the area's accommodation is currently five-star.”
Crealy has spent three years preparing the planning application and a spokesperson said the park is working closely with North Cornwall District Council's Economic Development Office and South West Tourism to ensure the new accommodation
