Chifeng Museum to open

Chifeng Museum in Inner Mongolia, China, is due to open this Sunday (8 August).

The museum took three years to prepare and build, and is set to be the country's largest domestic museum dedicated to China's Hongshan Culture.

Hongshan Culture was a Neolithic, or new stone age, culture in north eastern China, dating from around 4700-2900 BC.
