CAVU Designwerks appoints Nathan Jones as chief operating officer

Nathan Jones has more than 22 years experience in the attractions industry

Nathan Jones has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief operating officer at CAVU Designwerks.

An industry veteran, Jones joins CAVU with more than 22 years industry experience, having held roles at Brogent Technologies and Vekoma. He most recently served as president of Park Attractions at WhiteWater, where he was responsible for project delivery, operations and finance.

In addition, Jones serves on the Board of Directors for the International Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and has recently taken up the post of VP of the TEA Executive Committee.

In his new role at CAVU, Jones will serve as a senior member of the executive team, reporting directly to company CEO Peter Schnabel.

"We are excited to have Nathan as part of the CAVU team. He compliments our strong performance-oriented culture, and we believe his impressive reputation for execution and achieving results makes him the right choice for ensuring operational excellence across the company as we evolve into our next stage of company growth," said Schnabel.

Jones said of his appointment: "There are few companies in the industry that have delivered the calibre of attractions that CAVU has over the past five years.

"The talented employee base and proven ability to execute on such complex projects provide a solid foundation for our forward trajectory and I am thrilled to join and contribute to the growth of such an exciting team."

Nathan Jones has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief operating officer at CAVU Designwerks.
