Awards name Cedar Point as world’s best amusement park

Cedar Point amusement park/resort was recently voted Best Amusement Park in the World in the Golden Ticket Awards.

The awards, an annual poll conducted by Amusement Today, also gave high honours to four of Cedar Park’s rollercoasters.

Daniel Keller, vice president and general manager of Cedar Point said: “All of us are thrilled to be rated so highly in the prestigious Golden Ticket Awards.”

Situated on the Lake Erie peninsula, Cedar Point has introduced the opportunity for guests staying on Bonus Weekends – 6-7 and 13-14 September – to participate in a Murder Mystery weekend.

Throughout the two days guests gather facts, conduct interviews and share notes before the mystery is solved on Sunday morning.
