East Devon District Council has granted Crealy Great Adventure Park planning consent to retain its Tidal Wave log flume in its current location.
The future of the popular ride, which opened in 2003, was in doubt after confusion over the need for a planning permission due to Crealy’s status.
Park officials were told in 2000 that they would not need to apply for planning permission for rides, owing to its status as an amusement park.
However, a permission was needed and now issued, securing the ride’s future.
