Billed as Saudi Arabia's first international standard theme park, the delayed Alhokairland opens next month (June).
The park is owned by the Sheik Abdel Mohsin Al Hokair & Sons Group one of the leading companys in the amusement, leisure and hotel industry in the Gulf.
Alhokairland comprises eight themed areas: Euroland for Europe, The Kingdom for Saudi Arabia, Eastland for the Far East, Ameriland for America and Afriland for Africa. Malland, a commercial centre dedicated to shops and restaurants, an edutainment area called Abcarino and an exhibition centre complete the themed areas.
The park was designed by a 30-strong team from Baustudio Architects Associates and boasts 11 attractions including a 3D theatre and an interactive dark ride, 10 major rides and 12 children's rides including a driving school. There are also 18 restaurants and food outlets, 25 shops and birthday halls.
