Background
A former national ski team racer, ProSlide® CEO
Rick Hunter’s goal has been to integrate the
smooth turns, steep grades and big drops of
competitive skiing into water attractions. Rick
founded ProSlide® in 1986, partnering with
Hans Tanzer – one of Canada’s largest sailboat
manufacturers – to introduce the highest-quality
fibreglass to the waterpark industry. This
partnership established ProSlide’s reputation
as a leader in ride performance and quality.
