In a move to aimed at growing the park and boosting visitor numbers, Italy's Leolandia attraction has seen amusement manufacturer Zamperla supplying and installing a range of new themed rides.
In the Minitalia (Mini Italy) section of the park, visitors can cruise the 'sea' between miniature versions of Sicily and Sardinia.
Once ashore, they can take a trip back to America's Old West with rides on Wild Avvoltoi (Kite Flyer), Town Tower (Mega Jumpin Star), and Carovana Western (Crazy Bus).
Elsewhere, The Magic Bikes has a medieval theme, whilst Minitalia Leolandia’s Strabilia - an exhibition dedicated to the 1890's - is home to three of Zamperla's newest rides.
Making its Italian debut, the Mega Disk'O sends outward-facing riders on an electrifying spin along a 40ft tall half pipe track. On the Twister Coaster, cars rotate in free-spin as they travel along a track featuring hairpin bends and sudden drops. The Cannon Ball Flash Tower (pictured) blasts riders into the sky and lets them bounce their way up and down back to the ground.
The park says early returns indicate that attendance numbers are strong and climbing.
