A water attraction created by SCS Interactive for China's Haichang Caribbean Park is set to be the country's largest when it opens in July this year.
Situated in Chongqing the 15,000sq ft Caribbean-themed structure will stand 66ft high and feature 38 different decks.
SCS customised the attraction specifically for the operating Haichang Group, combining its WaterColors™ and Discovery Treehouse™ products and adding two tipping buckets, a volcano geyser, six water slides and hundreds of interactive water features.
An 8ft tipping bucket will top a 68ft high tower and drench guests with over 1,100 gallons of water
every few minutes.
Elsewhere, a Shipwreck tower with a 6ft bucket will overflow with 750 gallons of water and a 50ft high volcano will blast a geyser of water 80ft
into the air.
Guests will be able to explore multi-level, climbable platforms and enjoy hundreds of interactive water blasters, sprayers, fountains,
buckets, pumps and water wheels.
SCS is partnering with ProSlide Technology to weave six slides - ranging in height from 6ft to 42ft and with a total length of 1209 linear feet - throughout the structure, using SCS's Slides n Glides™ technology.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |

How surf simulators are transforming the experience economy |
|
The experience economy, driven by evolving consumer trends, is poised for continued growth
in the coming years. Millennials have been at the forefront of this shift, favouring
memorable experiences over material possessions. This preference has extended to other
generations as well, indicating a broader adoption of experience-focused spending habits
in the attractions sector. |
