Dreamworld theme park in Queensland, Australia, has announced that it is to launch its new thrill ride - BuzzSaw - this year as part of efforts to mark the attraction's 30th anniversary.
Adding to the park's existing 'Big 6' thrill rides, BuzzSaw will see guests seated in an open carriage and held by a single waist harness designed to leave the upper body exposed.
Starting with a 46m (151ft) vertical climb, the peak of the experience will see visitors' centre of gravity flipped before being "dangled" upside-down 15-storeys in the air.
It will be one of the highest inversion rides in the Southern Hemisphere and among a range of new additions due this year, which also include The Lair exotic animal exhibit.
BuzzSaw is expected to open in September ahead of the school holiday period and will be one of the first rides that guests will be able to see from the main car park.
