The aquarium backed the Atlanta Falcons to win the big one in its viral hit
Georgia Aquarium created a viral hit ahead of last night’s Super Bowl, with a video full of football-playing otters, Patriot-hating dolphins and ball kicking penguins cheering on the Atlanta Falcons.
Using its creature cast and aquarium staff to create the 35-second work, the aquarium decided to get behind the Falcons’ slogan “Rise Up” ahead of the blockbuster event, creating the video, which was published on 3 February and has since been viewed more than 75,000 times.
Unfortunately for the Falcons, their opponents, the New England Patriots, produced the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history to win 34-28 in overtime and claim a fifth title. Still it’s not all doom and gloom as the aquarium celebrates its viral hit.
Georgia Aquarium is readying its brand new US$40m (€36m, £28.7m) sea lion exhibit,
marking the animals' return to the attraction for the first time since 2008.
Off the back of the success of the first round of Everyday Heritage Grants in 2022, Historic

and How to Train Your Dragon worlds to its Florida resort.
