Jeremy Jenkins joins eGym UK as senior sales manager
POSTED 15 Jun 2016 . BY Jak Phillips
Jenkins arrives with 28 years’ experience in the fitness industry
eGym UK has appointed Jeremy Jenkins to be senior sales manager as it moves to bolster its growing UK team.

eGym – which produces electric resistance machine circuits backed by regular software updates and retention solutions – has set out plans to ramp up the expansion of its product suite after raising US$45m (€40m, £32m) worth of investment in its latest funding round.

The supplier is eager to expand its presence in the UK market and has set about recruiting a number of experienced fitness professionals to support this mission. Jenkins’ appointment follows the recent arrival of Andrew Bagnall from Keiser UK, who has been named sales director.

Jenkins brings his 28 years’ fitness industry experience to eGym, having held senior roles with various companies including Technogym, Matrix Fitness and most recently SportsArt UK.

“I have seen the rapid growth of eGym within the European fitness market and have always loved the technological side of the industry,” said Jenkins.

“eGym provides fantastic solutions to enable operators to help their members achieve their goals. Data collection and software is now driving the market and eGym is at the forefront of these solutions for the industry.
