Triotech's newest technology and content to feature at Canada’s Wonderland theme park
POSTED 03 Sep 2013 . BY Kate Corney
Designer and developer of advanced interactive and immersive attractions, Triotech, has created new interactive dark ride technology for Canada's Wonderland attraction.

Montreal-based Triotech, creator of multisensory attractions for the entertainment industry, will create the new ride called Wonder Mountain’s Guardian with 3D effects overlaid with 4D elements.

It will include real time graphics and a highly accurate targeting system to create an ultra-immersive and interactive gaming experience.

Wonder Mountain’s Guardian begins outside the park’s Wonder Mountain, then dives into its core traveling through five different layers of underground world. Riders will encounter and interact with mythical creatures as they navigate through a desolate forest, underground lake and Draconian City. The quest culminates as riders enter the dragon’s lair for the final and ultimate battle with a heart-stopping finale that will shock thrill seekers of all ages.

The attraction will feature the longest continuous interactive screen ever built in a ride. The new ride is scheduled to open in May 2014 at Canada’s Wonderland.

Ernest Yale, president and CEO of Triotech said: “This new ride will bring the best elements of the physical, virtual and multi-sensory world. All this combined in a fully immersive and interactive experience.”

“Thrill seekers and video game enthusiasts from all generations will be amazed by the combination of unique ride thrills and immersive 4D interactive action as they compete for ride supremacy,” said Norm Pirtovshek, general manager, Canada’s Wonderland.
