Sales Support Executive - UK Trade

We require a Sales Support Executive to join the UK Trade team based at our Merlin Business Support office in Chessington, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting and thrilling environment, working as a key partner to the UK Trade Sales Team. In addition to looking after a portfolio of smaller clients, you will provide full administrative and sales support, analysing and providing accurate information to the team and customers whilst ensuring an efficient and effective sales process and service. In order to make a success of this role you will be a master at handling a variety of tasks at once, anticipate and act on the needs of the team as and when they arise and eventually becoming the lynchpin of the trade team.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Sales, UK and Head of Strategic Partners & London.
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of smaller clients, and develop these through your own efforts.
- Act as first point of contact for the Trade Account Managers – prioritising and directing all enquiries.
- Maintain and update the CRM system to enable effective customer management and reporting.
- Lead in the modification / implementation of new systems, processes and policies.
- - Collaborate with internal teams including IT, Finance, Admissions and Merlin Business Support to Ensure sales processes are in place, on-time and operating smoothly for trade channels.
Establish an effective reporting process to deliver Key Performance Indicators for the Sales Team and work with the Head of Sales to oversee the production of monitoring reports for the Sales Team.

We are looking for the following skills and experience...
- You will be a creative problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to take the initiative.
- A strong team player, you will be confident working in a fast moving environment.
- You'll keep calm under pressure and have a passion for delivering a good job. This role will require you to work to tight deadlines so the ability to be flexible, prioritise, use initiative and create positive solutions is key.
- You must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM software.
- Most importantly, what you will bring is a sense of fun to our business!
