About The Role
We are now looking for dynamic Group Sales Assistant to join our Marketing team. As the Group Sales Assistant you will be right in the heart of the magic, assisting and working with innovative thinkers to ensure the day-to-day smooth operation of our Marketing department.

Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the Marketing department including assisting with the clerical and project management duties such as creating and maintaining reports, drafting sales contracts and filing.
* Assist with the coordination and execution of sales and marketing tactics, onsite and offsite events, and promotions.
* Assist with heavy telephone contact with internal and external contacts.
* Provide a courteous, efficient, and helpful service to our customers by answering questions and providing assistance via phone and email.
* Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive and passionate approach to guest service and demonstrates the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
* Ensure at all times to deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external partners, clients, suppliers, and guests.
* To do any reasonable duty as detailed by the Management team of the attraction.
* Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety & Security within the workplace and in line with the Group Policy (HS001).

About You
* Minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience in a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel or theater environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
* Previous sales experience preferred.
* Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary.
* Extensive knowledge of computer including Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook and Word
* Desire to work in fast-paced environments.
* Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
