Senior Operations Manager

Position Summary
The Park Presentation Manager is responsible for the Custodial Operation of the Resort. This position ensures that daily cleaning is done to all pathways, patios, restaurants, retail locations, restrooms, ride vehicles, and various other areas. They ensure that our environmental initiatives place the Resort on the leading edge of conservation. This position also oversees contracts with various vendors and suppliers that do everything from providing dumpster service, to supplying uniform for our staff. Key to this position is the ability to communicate clearly and to develop strong working relationship with all areas of the business.

Scope and Responsibilities

- Operations
* Ensure all daily cleaning is done throughout the Resort
* Ensures that a strict auditing program in in place to provide the highest level of service to our guests
* Manages department budget, including labor, equipment costs, contract costs, etc.
* Builds a strong Service Culture within the team. Driving a continual increase in the customer service standards that are planned.
* Ensures that all environmental reporting is completed and submitted to both internal and external regulating agencies
* Partners with other areas of the business such as Food and Beverage and Retail to provide the highest cleanliness level possible in those venues
* Oversees all department ordering ensuring custodial supplies are always in stock
* Participates in the Park Duty Manager program covering duty shifts on a regular basis
* Ensures the Resort Wardrobe inventory levels are consistent for the staffing level

- Marketing
* Provides data when requested.

- Financial
* Responsible for working within the department budget
* Ensures that are contracted goods and services and delivered on time and with budget
* Constantly reviews costs of goods and services to establish the best pricing possible

- Development
* Provides regular training and development opportunities to all members of the Presentation Team
* Provides regular feedback and support to Supervisors
* Uses the strong relationship developed with other departments to provide opportunities for their team in other areas.

- People
* Maintains strong working relationships with all areas of the business
* Ensures strong training program is in place throughout the department

- Health & Safety:
The Operations Compliance Manager is responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their team, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees in their teams are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

Background and Experience
* Minimum of five years’ of leadership experience in a theme park or related attraction.
* Experience managing and developing a large diverse team.
* Must understand the inventory and budgeting process and be able to accurately forecast all spending.
* Self-motivated with demonstrable initiative.
* Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) are required.
* Must have strong problem solving skills and remain dedicated to providing outstanding guest service.
* Ability to delegate and organize sporadic and long term work assignments while maintaining attention to detail required.
* Minimum high school diploma. General computer skills with an average understanding of MS Office.
* Various Indoor and Outdoor locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
* Exposed to all aspects of weather including wet and/or humid conditions.
* Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations.
* Must currently have or have the ability to acquire a valid Driver’s License.
* Must be 18 years of age.
