Everyone Active adds two councils to burgeoning portfolio of leisure contracts
POSTED 18 May 2018 . BY Tom Walker
The deal will see Everyone Active operate the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre Credit: Everyone Active
Leisure operator Everyone Active has been awarded two 10-year contracts to deliver services on behalf of local councils.

The company – the trading name for Sports & Leisure Management – has been appointed to manage the North Solihull Sports Centre and Tudor Grange Leisure Centre on behalf of Solihull Council.

As part of the deal, Everyone Active will invest £1m in improving the facilities during the first year of the partnership.

The company has also secured a 10-year contract with Dacorum Borough Council to deliver its leisure services.

The partnership will see Everyone Active managing Berkhamsted Sports Centre, Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre, Hemel Hempstead School Courts, Jarman Park Athletics track and Longdean Sports Centre.

The contract includes a commitment to invest more than £2.3m into the council’s flagship leisure facilities at Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, while the council will plough around £3.5m into refurbishing Tring Swimming Pool and building a new athletics track and sports pavilion.

Everyone Active has now secured three 10-year contracts with councils during 2018, following a deal with Bracknell Forest Council earlier in the year. That agreement saw it take over operations at Bracknell Leisure Centre, Coral Reef Waterworld and Downshire Golf Complex in March.
