New York landmarks made entirely out of Lego will be among the family-friendly attractions on display when Legoland Discovery Center opens in Winchester, New York state, US, on 27 March.
The 32,300sq ft indoor attraction, 30 minutes drive from New York city, features more than three million Lego bricks and caters to children aged three to 10, and their families.
Costing $12m (8.8m euro, £7.6m), it is the sixth Legoland Discovery Center to open in the US as part of Merlin Entertainment’s expansion plans for the brand.
Attractions will include play areas, a 4D cinema, Lego building classes, two Lego rides, party rooms and Miniland, which will recreate landmark features from Westchester County and New York City.
