Unconfirmed reports claim that up to six people have died in an accident at the Eco Venture Valley theme park, which is part of the OCT East visitor attraction in Shenzen, China.
According to the Xinhua news agency – and local media - there had been a "major incident" at the park's Space Journey ride.
The report suggests that, in addition to the fatalities, a further nine people had been taken to hospital for treatment.
The OCT East is a resort destination which includes a number of theme parks, hotels and a golf course.
