The Beatles Story launches second site

The operator of the Beatles Story visitor attraction in Liverpool has opened a second site within the new £10.5m Mersey Ferries terminal building. Called Beatles Story Pier Head, the attraction features a new 4D theatre supplied by Simworx and gallery space showcasing Beatles memorabilia.

Barratt named new BALPPA chief executive

The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) has appointed Martin Barratt as its new chief executive. Barratt will join BALPPA on 1 May 2010 to allow a three month handover before current CEO Colin Dawson retires on 31 July.
